REE Automotive Begins U.S. Production With Roush Industries
REE Automotive Ltd. announced that it has selected Roush Industries to assemble REE’s P7 vehicles at Roush’s Detroit-area factory. Roush, as U.S. contract manufacturer for the P7 lineup, will be responsible for the assembly of full vehicles according to REE’s requirements.
REE kicks off US production of its P7 electric trucks with Roush as its contract manufacturer
REE states that Roush will begin US production of the P7 electric trucks at its Detroit-area factory in Q4 2024, with an annual capacity of 5,000 units. The startup will continue to manufacture its proprietary REEcorner technology in Coventry, while Roush will handle US assembly.
